This Saturday we had the "Strawberry Fair" in town. 'Great!' I thought 'I love strawberries!!' and so I went and met my friends there in the afternoon, to find this:
Turns out this Strawberry fair thing is a huge hippie festival with many stages and all kinds of interesting looking people. No strawberries! And the worst part is no one knew. We were all genuinely expecting this fruit!
Of course, since everyone was very hippie there had to be a few vegan food trucks.
The stages were pretty cool and I really liked the music. It's a pity that we did not go earlier and just sat there on our blankets, like some people did!
Those were the only strawberries we saw for a long time, but they were not the weirdest outfits...
Once you are done admiring the costumes of the guys in the foreground please take a moment to acknowledge the Churros = spanish Dougnuts (we'll ignore the fact that DOUGNUTS is not even a word at this point...) sign in the back. Really, hippie-stand, really?!
We finally found some strawberries hidden in a small food stand in one corner, but they might have eventually been a tiny bit overpriced.
The decoration there was... different? I liked the entrances though!:
