With all this apocalyptic rainfalls one would think that all of the fruits had to be ten times bigger than the ones we have back in Europe. Well, apparently this is not always the case.
The supermarket baskets are not extraordinarily big in Singapore. As you can see from the pice sticker that covers 3/4 of one banana, the size of these fruits is rather small and you probably need to eat a few of them in order to notice something.
What is even more exaggerated (and way cuter) are the mini-kiwis. You heard me, mini kiwis. These fruits REALLY are like snaks:
They do not even have that kiwi skin but rather look like grapes on the outisde (this way you are able to eat 2-3 kilos of kiwis without even noticing during some movie for example). They do taste like kiwis, though. I am not sure if this is evoultion or too much freedom in the field of genetic manipulation of the food, but it sure is awesome!
