Colbar

So here is a suggestion for a pretty cool after-work plan. This evening we went to have dinner at a bar called Colbar which is in 15 minute walking distance from my workplace. It is quite interesting because you go from being in Biopolis, which is basically a conctentration of very high and modern glass buildings dedicated to research to walking between trees in a jungle-like environment in about 5 minutes. After walking a while with surroundings like these...

you get to the entrance of the restaurant. It is kind of hidden between palms and wild plants so your sense of achievement for finding the bar already sets you in a good mood. The atmosphere is really cool, since you have the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle in some kind of indigenous restaurant.

The restaurant is pretty cute, sparse decoration but still more beautiful than many restaurats I have seen so far. After getting your drinks and making your order here...

... you go to the food court where your food is served after a few minutes. We tried various dishes and they were all really delicious and regarding the amount of food we had really cheap (the food was about 6 euros). As a dessert we had fried bananas with honey (look at me blogging about my food like a full-grown hipster) and it was extremely good! Not a bad way of ending a day of hard work.
